Holladay Runway: Tom Ford Autumn Winter 2016 Review at NYFW

Well y'all I hate to admit, I've always deemed Tom Ford too classic and conservative for our Holladay Frippelosophy style. . . Boy was I wrong! His Autumn Winter 2016 New York Fashion Week collection takes timeless and turns it trendy with incredibly rich supple accents and fabrics.
Watch the whole show with my commentary on our youtube channel, but here are a few appetizers:
Leather jackets wrapped with a leather multi buckle corset like look. Casual, cool and just so decadent!
A tweed jacket with a bubbled hem that gave it a peplum shape. I would have taken it away from it's a line skirt mate and put it with destroyed jeans and stilettos.
See through printed fabric backs on elegant simple black shapes - it looked as if the models had tattooed backs!
Sequins so fine and well stitched they looked wet instead of sparkly. Such elegance. Revolutionary in sequin wear I think.
Leggings that peekabooed out the back of maxi skirts.
For the gentleman, sixties rocking sunglasses, very John Lennon-ish, thick curly hair and velveteen blazers! Some had incredible mod prints!
